The Bakers + Buja & Mae {Coffs Harbour Family Photographer/ Vintage Caravan}

The Baker Brood are a bunch of altogether too clever & nice individuals who make the best of their family time by squeezing themselves into their brilliantly refurbished vintage caravan, Mae the Millard. Mae is pulled along for the ride by Buja the Defender & together they are an unbeatable combination. We spent a beautiful Autumn evening on the beach a little while ago, toasting marshmallows & enjoying the warm weather, all too aware that Winter is around the corner. You can read more about Buja & Mae & the adventures of the Baker fam by hitting this linky poo & you can also check out how much these kids have grown by revisiting their previous session

Karlie & Camilo {Coffs Harbour Wedding Photographer, Bellingen Wedding}

This day was the ultimate celebration of the life that Karlie & Camilo have built across culture & language. They have embraced each other in their differences by celebrating what binds them together; love, children & the home they have made together in Australia. Camilo’s family travelled all the way from Colombia to witness this day. I have been lucky enough to document this family through pregnancy, baby & toddlerhood & with a surprise proposal thrown in. This day topped the lot <3 I can not express how lucky I feel to be let in to people’s lives on these important occasions. Thank you, thank you.

Lauren & Matt {Coffs Harbour Wedding Photographer Nambucca Valla Wedding}

Matt & Lauren were the perfect mix of knowing what they wanted & going with the flow. This made for such a joyous day where they balanced the focus on their own relationship with their love for their daughter, Grace as well as for their beautiful family & friends. Lauren’s bouquet was made up of long stemmed flowers that were handpicked by her clever florist friend, & then individually handed to her by her loved ones. A picturesque beach ceremony,  followed by a  quick boat trip to a desert island & then back to Eagles Rest for celebrations – the day was windswept perfection.

Julie - Wow what amazing and beautiful photo’s

At home with the Family Williams {Coffs Harbour Lifestyle Family Photographer}

For me this was the perfect afternoon: When a family lets me in to their home & their lives I really have to pinch myself to remember that this is my job. Documenting the beauty in your everyday is my absolute favourite thing to do. The Williams Family upped the ante this particular afternoon by adding margaritas to all this fun & I am now giving serious thought to adding a Compulsory Margaritas clause to my contract. A massive thank you to these beautiful boys & their equally lovely parents for sharing “how they roll” with me. <3

The Family Merrick {Coffs Harbour Photographer}

This is the third time I have documented this growing clan & each time it’s more chaotic & more fun. Ruby showed me the quickest way out to the yard & Leo was just his contented baby self (those arm rolls were really doing it for me <3). Billy & Maya, still very much a big part of the family made sure they had their time in front of the camera too 🙂 Tom & Jodi are taking it all in their stride & most importantly remembering to have a laugh along the way.

Re-visiting families, especially in their homes brings me so much fulfilment as a photographer. My own children love looking at pictures of their baby-selves. This is often in my mind & definitely influences the way I document other children & families, Lxo
