The Family Lindsay go free range {Family Lifestyle Photographer Coffs Harbour Sawtell}

LindsayBlog001

This would have to have been one of my all time favourite shoots. We didn’t go anywhere, nobody dressed up & the kids were allowed to just be kids. More & more I’m drawn to these honest portraits of families, capturing kids the way their parents will remember them long after they’ve “grown up”. So if you want to see an afternoon filled with chooks, pets, snacking & paint fights keep scrolling. Thank you to the Lindsay family who let me in, L oxo.

Carly + Ryan + Beige + Oscar + Bump {Nambucca Coffs Harbour Pregnancy & Baby Photographer}

CarlyBlog01

I spent a magic Autumn afternoon with these guys. I’m really lucky to have clients that look at my work & “get it” & I often leave sessions feeling like I’ve just been having a really great chat with friends & taking some pictures as we talked. These guys are rocking this whole “Parent” gig & their new addition is a lucky little soul. 🙂  L ox

Dan & Fred (Alison) Vow Renewal {Coffs Harbour Wedding Photographer}

BartlettBlog01

You may well recognise the delightful Alison Bartlett from your own wedding 🙂 She has now married hundreds of people around the Coffs Coast & further afield, in her capacity as a celebrant. And as a celebrant she also knows that a marriage (not a wedding) is something not to be taken for granted & that it deserves to be celebrated, especially when reaching milestones like ten years. Dan & Fred have been together since high school & it was important to them that some sentimental touches be included in their vow renewal. They used their old wedding music, Fred donned her original wedding dress for a few snaps at the end of our time & the couple’s two beautiful children were also there to watch their mum & dad get married all over AGAIN. It was overcast for all but five minutes & although there was no sun there was lots of love & laughs. A fabulous way to spend the afternoon, L oxo

The Family Baker {Coffs Harbour Family Photographer Portrait Photographer}

BakerBlog01

If anybody knows the value of getting yourself into the frame it is a fellow photographer. The gorgeous & clever Laura from Captured With Love had not been officially documented with her clan since her now nearly three year old was a newborn & it was my (nervous) pleasure to be the one to do it. So often when people book they tell me how much they hate having their photo taken but by the end of the session they are always glad they have done it. Just think how much we value those images of our own parents & grandparents, well we need to do that for our children too! Leah oxo
