The Sisters Aboud are pretty damn CRAZY! {Family Sydney}

Visiting my long time friend in Sydney is kind of like being at home with the exception that all the little people are wearing dresses & are not wrestling each other on the floor  🙂  Aleesha & I have known each other since we were toddlers & we had our children not too far apart & with similar age gaps between each. Despite the fact that her lot have a penchant for tutus & mine for Lego there is surprisingly not a great many other differences. Kids are kids, siblings are siblings. They have their own little dynamic: somebody is the leader, somebody is a bit of a perfectionist, somebody is a slob, somebody is affectionate, somebody is a tad nutty, somebody has no fear for their personal safety & somebody is generally without clothes most of the time. This is what makes shooting families, especially siblings so fun!!

My kids love to hang at the beach & to help to mow the lawn whilst Aleesha’s tribe loves their local park & Paddo shops. BUT when they are together they’re just kids being kids. Country Mice & City Mice: equally adorable & equally quirky little folk!

P.S I would be remiss if I did not mention Jazzy, the world’s most tolerant pooch.

My last baby.

18 whole months today. My baby. My LAST baby. It must certainly be the knowledge that he is the last that has me so desperate to remember his every stage, his delicious baby roundness (those dimply hands, oh my), his bald baby profile, his hilarious self-talk… I can still remember what he smelled like, what they all smelled like, when he was brand new. I’m so sad to never have this baby part of my life again but at the same time excited to see the amazing little people we MADE grow & develop. So I will just have to satisfy myself with as many squidgy cuddles as I can humanly fit in… until he doesn’t want them anymore…& then I’ll just MAKE HIM CUDDLE ME!!

With thanks to my lovely husband for the first frame, Loxo

Little Wooden Birdies oxo

The final piece in my packaging puzzle arrived today, courtesy of my clever friend who cut & etched my little wooden birdies. I love them & they should be in client letter boxes very soon! 🙂

The Family Parkin + bump {Pregnancy Maternity Family Coffs Harbour Sawtell}

I left the Parkin fam last weekend feeling genuinely excited for them & the new little person they are about to meet. They are gorgeous parents & have more than enough love & patience to give two wee people.

Joel is beautiful with Miss Indy & I know from experience that they will soon become even closer when the latest addition arrives. To say that Emma looks amazing for a woman with only two weeks to go with her second child, would be the understatement of the century!!

I can’t say enough about how much I love these images. It was just one of those afternoons where it all came together. I’m already looking forward to taking some “snaps” of baby when he or she decides to join us.

P.S I want to do this for YOU too so please contact me if you’d like to spend the afternoon together 🙂

My loves.

I stumbled across this image today that I took in late Spring, & the more I looked at it the more I loved it. All my beautiful menfolk doing their thing in the gorgeous afternoon light. My heart.
